For authors
Deadline for submissions is the 31st January.
Review process
Before acceptance for publication, all articles will be double-blind peer-reviewed by scholars active in appropriate areas of academic research. Therefore, authors’ names and contact information should be given on a separate page. Also, direct references to the author’s own formulates and previous texts should be avoided in the first version of the submission. These may be added after the reviewing process.
Articles are accepted in case of two positive reviews. Depending on the evaluation of reviewers the authors can or must revise the article according to the comments of the reviewers. If necessary, the article will be sent to the reviewer(s) once more. After that the editorial board will make a final decision on the publication of the article.
The review process of the articles by members of editorial board is conducted by other members of board, respectively, to guarantee necessary anonymity and objectivity.
The editorial board of Res Musica follows best practices in scholarly publishing stated by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) in Codes of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines, presupposing that the reviewers and authors do the same.
